Oslo Santo: Palo Santo & Sandalwood
Scent: Palo Santo & Sandalwood
Scent intensity: Light to Medium
The story behind the scent: Elevated and refined, Oslo Santo was created to pay homage to two very sacred trees. Palo Santo (literally, ‘holy wood’ in Spanish) is an aromatic wood native to South America grown in very special conditions. Similar to sage, it is often burned to ‘cleanse’ the energy of a place, leaving it feeling naturally freshened and purified. Sandalwood is considered sacred in many global faith traditions and the tree it comes from is widely grown across the world (from India to Bhutan to Australia and the Hawaiian Islands) and is highly prized for its aromatic oil and spiritual significance. The name ‘Oslo Santo’ popped up as a correction to Palo Santo one night and gave rise to much laughter and seemed a fitting tribute to the city of Oslo, with its spirit-cleansing deep fjord and fresh, clean forests surrounding the City. Oslo Santo promises to raise the spirit of your surroundings.
