“Borders? I have heard they exist, but I have never seen one.” – Thor Heyerdahl
Gentle, mellow, lightly fruity and herbal Kon-Tiki is all about chasing the dream you’re told you can’t have, flying in the face of fear and proving wrong the doubt that often keep us anchored in place rather than pursing our grandest visions.
In 1947, Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and a small team of inexperieced sailors set out from Peru on a balsa wood raft named for the Incan god Kon-Tiki. They told him it was impossible. They told him he was crazy. They said his dream would be the death of him. He went anyway, and in doing so made one of the most significant exploratory voyages of modern times. floating on the Pacific current for 101 days until reaching land and coming home alive and successful in their quest to prove it could be done.
Kon-Tiki is our tribute to bravery, focus, and the of spirits everyone who has ever braved the uncertain waters of the world to chase treasure, triumph, and homeland.
